Speech and Language Therapy
The speech and language therapy program at Memorial Regional Hospital consists of master’s level, ASHA-certified (American Speech Language Hearing Association) and state-licensed speech and language pathologists. We are here to individually evaluate and treat children and adults with communication and feeding disorders, including:
• Articulation and speech disorders
• Language impairment
• Oral motor/dysarthria/apraxia
• Fluency and/or stuttering
• Voice disorders
• Feeding disorders
Patients, parents and caregivers are educated on strategies to help each patient reach his/her maximum potential.
