Ergonomic Assessments
If you are experiencing pain while working it may be your body’s way of telling you to change how you do your job. Repetitive motion and certain types of positions can be the cause of your discomfort. At Memorial Hospital West Fitness & Rehabilitation Center physical and occupational therapists will evaluate a patient’s condition and make recommendations for workstation modifications to prevent symptoms and alleviate problems causing repetitive stress injuries. Training is available for local businesses or on a one-on-one basis. Ergonomic training is often part of the treatment regimen in the physical therapy or occupational therapy plan of care.
