Memorial Fitness & Rehabilitation Centers

FAQ's

Q: Is the staff qualified to help me with my individual goals?

A: Memorial staff members undergo rigorous training and are highly qualified. Many staff members are college-degreed in the exercise science field. Some staff members are certified in various specialties to help you achieve your goals safely and effectively.

Q: What if I need help getting started?

A: At Memorial, all new members are given an individual exercise program based on your goals. This service is given at no charge to all members! Because goals can change as you progress through your program, we offer program updates to help you continue with your success…again at no extra charge!

Q: I never belonged to a gym before; I’m concerned I won’t fit in.

A: Memorial is the perfect place for beginners. Not only do you get the advice and guidance you need, you will also feel comfortable in our relaxed environment. Memorial’s gyms are appealing to a variety of people of all ages who are concerned with their health.

Q: How quickly will I reach my goals?

A: How fast you reach your goals depends on what they are and your level of dedication to your customized program. The staff at Memorial want to see you succeed. We approach goals in a realistic fashion by setting short-term goals (3 to 6 months) and long-term goals (6 to 12 months). By creating individualized plans our members stay motivated and learn that fitness done right is safer and more effective.

Q: What if I have an old injury? I don’t want my program to hurt me.

A: Memorial staff members are prepared to help all members no matter what limitation or condition you may have. Since we are hospital-based fitness centers, Memorial has successfully guided many of our members safely and effectively throughout their individual exercise programs.

Q: Do you offer personal training?

A: Yes we do. Even though a membership will give you all the tools and staff time you need to get started safely and effectively, personal training is still requested by members. Personal training can make all the difference for some members in that it provides great motivation and more intensive guidance. Again you can rely on Memorial’s great personal training staff to give you the best service anywhere.
